SBA Boys & Girls Basketball Summer Camp (ages 6 – 13)
SBA Girls Basketball Summer Camp (ages 9 – 15)
SBA HoopDome Basketball Summer Camp (ages 7 – 17) Summer Camp Convenor: Jason Williams For the past ten years, the SBA has provided our 7 to 17 year-old members the opportunity to attend basketball camps throughout the season. Once again for the eleventh year, the BLUES will organize and host its Summer Camp. This year the SBA will be enlarging the Summer Camp Program to 10 weeks starting July 5th 2010 and ending the week of August 30, 2010. All sessions will be held at the HoopDome and David & Mary Thomson CI. Camp Leaders: [1] College coaches from Centennial College
[2] High school coaches from: Birchmount CI, Pope John Paul II CSS, Blessed Mother Teresa CSS
[3] Provincial coaches associated with SBA
[4] NCAA Division 1 players; and
[5] Canadian University basketball players Program will include the following: *Techniques regarding individual skills: Shooting (lay ups, free throws), Ball Handling, Footwork, Passing, Rebounding, etc.)
*Strength training
*Team Strategies (i.e. man-to-man defense, etc.)
*Guest speakers (OBA and Colleges personnel)
